I received my certificate and babysitting from the Red Cross when I was 12 and I’ve been working with kids ever since. I have a little sister who is nine years younger than me, and I began babysitting her in my early teens. From there I worked as a summer camp counselor throughout my high school in college summers as well as a summer time nanny to families in the surrounding area. I have experience babysitting and nannying in families with multiple kids of multiple ages and I’ve worked with many kids, both typical and atypical in development and learning. I also have experience working in different preschool programs both in Connecticut and New Hampshire, and have worked as a camp counselor at a sleepaway camp in Pennsylvania for a couple of summers. For the past five years I worked as a vision therapist the pediatric patients and I’m currently Read more transitioning to be an Elementary school classroom teacher next fall.
