I have been working since I turned 15 years old. I started off as a baby sitter which gave me plenty of different responsibilities at a young age. From there I moved onto retail selling clothing and then I worked as an animal caretaker. I have also worked in a deli as an Assistant Manager where i learned better customer service, dealing with vendors, and the routines of running a small business. Out of this experience I have learned to keep up with an pace of work from it being slow or fast. On fast days its easy do your job well and make sure everyone is satisfied with my performance; on slow days you get what needs to be done quick so you can focus more on the smaller things to improve the big picture. I have just recently started working at Marriott Hotel and Spa located in Stamford,Ct. Read more There I have worked as a hostess and filled in as a server whenever needed in the restaurant. This is my first experience as being a server and i have enjoyed every minute of it. I love the fact that you are able to make a connection with each of your guest. How you can serve them food while conversing with them to possibly brighten up their day. While working at the Marriott, I have also been given the chance to work at the banquets. Banquets have been an interesting experience from the crazy and chaotic running around to make sure everyone is pleased to the satisfaction you feel after a job well done. I have always been work driven and determined to finish many small tasks or challenging time consuming projects. I enjoy staying busy and learning different traits and roles pertaining to my job and the jobs of my peers. I work hard and strive to not only be good at my job, but if given the chance the job of those appointed above me. I have worked various jobs, and have picked up many different talents to which can only help me succeed as part of a team and as an individual worker.
