Hello Families! My Name is Angela (Angie) and I am a 28 year old energetic woman who loves helping children grow into smart moral humans! I have experience in the public school system where I worked as Full Time Building Substitute at West Bristol K-8 School. I specialized with working with children with behavioral and intellectual disabilities. I then became a pre-school teacher at a private school in Farmington, The Goddard School, which is my favorite job I have ever had! I decided I wanted to expand my experience and became a Recovery Specialist (you can call me a Social Worker) where I came to work with individuals with co-occuring mental illness and substance use disorders. I had a caseload of 8 Clients all whom are primarily diagnosed with Schizophrenia or Personality Disorders. Although I loved my job, it had made me realize I miss working with the population of Read more children in a more positive setting. I also believe in this world of COVID right now, a Pre-School Teacher Nanny could really benefit people right now! I would love to not only help watch your children, but I will teach them education skills and independent living skills. I will make them delicious healthy meals where they will not even be able to tell there is a vegetable in it! I am also a very clean person and would help with the cleaning duties, but would also educate your children on the importance of hygiene and cleanliness. I am extremely excited to be able to help little humans grow and would love the opportunity to interview with your family and children! I was blessed with a baby girl myself on July 17th, and will not be returning to social work at the end of my Maternity Leave, hence why I would like to Nanny.
