Hello, I'm Jen, a single mom of two fantastic teenagers that will be going off to college in the fall. With them leaving, I'll have more time on my hands to do what I love, taking care of little ones. I do work full time for YNHH, but my hours are flexible, and I have a large amount of vacation time stored up that needs to be used before the end of every year. I have an undergraduate degree in Social Services from Quinnipiac University, and a master's degree in Social Work from SCSU. I've worked professionally with kids of all ages through various projects I've been involved with; as well as personally through raising my own children and volunteering at their schools. I am a past 4-year PTO president and I've been involved with the Girl Scouts since I was 10; most recently as a 6-year leader for my Read more daughter's troop. I was also an all-state athlete through high school and college and I still love to be active. I love working with children, watching them grow, seeing them learn. There is no greater gift in life then to have the opportunity to be part of someone's village helping them usher their kids toward success.
