Hello, my name is Jeni Fillmore. I began babysitting over 18 years. I have babysat for families with anywhere from 1-5 children, ages 2 months old to about 14 years old. I also worked in a daycare for about three years and truly loved this position. Upon graduating from college, I began working in a group home for girls with developmental disabilities. I then began working with children and teens ages 5-18 y.o. with trauma histories and mental illness as a therapeutic support while I began my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am trained in CPR/First Aid, as well as many other clinical trainings. I later worked for DCF as an investigator for five years and so I am well educated on safety/child development. I enjoy cooking, art, drawing, hiking, spending time with family, gardening, cleaning, and basically any outdoor/active activities. I think it’s important to keep kiddos Read more active and engaged in social settings, so I have no problem facilitating this. I can also do household tasks for an extra fee - anything from cleaning, laundry, shopping, yard care, small fixer upper jobs, you name it. I have several psychology and trauma related certificates including psychological first aid. I can watch children who have difficult behaviors and/or struggle with mental health concerns, or any special needs for a sliding fee based off need level. I also love animals and have a great deal of pet care experience, including pets requiring medication. I have a cert. in animal psychology.
