I am a JD/MSW grad from the University of South Carolina and relocated to Connecticut for a job in legal aid! My undergrad at Florida State (Go Noles!) allowed me to learn more about familial units and child development as a Family and Child Sciences major. In Tallahassee I worked with a sitter/nanny service called Seminole Sitters and currently serve as a mentor to younger nannies with the company. I have experience with children on the spectrum, Downs Sydrome, emotional regulation issues, and the typical toddler meltdowns. I have experience with newborns included cloth diapers. I have been certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED. I am comfortable in families of up to six children, provided direction from the caregivers.
