Hi my name is Maddy. I am 21 years old and I have been babysitting, nannying, and working professional child care for the better part of a decade- around 7 years. I have been certified in CPR, first aid, have taken child development classes, and other child care and infant care courses. I worked in a day care as an infant teacher for 6 months before having my own child, where I took time off to take care of him. I am willing to travel across the Denver Metro area. I am interested in Music, being a singer, pianist, and musician. I love to cook, do crafts, art, organize activities, and have experience running a small business so I am very organized and well versed in administration, scheduling, communication, and punctuality. I have taken care of all kinds of children, any shape, size, color, ability, age, etc. including special needs toddlers, children of all races, religious backgrounds, school aged, infants, older special needs children, and treat each with the same love and respect I give to my own child. I am calm and collected in the face of stress and pressure, and patient with any child no matter how “difficult” or overwhelming. I know a bit of Spanish and ASL. I am versed in baby American Sign Language and have taught my son how to do it as well. I am willing and comfortable with caring for up to 8 children at once coming from a family of 9 myself and sitting families with 4+ kids as well as day care experience. I am willing to do phone interviews, have an open schedule, and reliable transportation. I charge $16 per hour, and a $2 increase hourly per extra child. (I.e. $16 for one child, $18 for 2, $20 for 3 and so on) I am willing to compromise for anyone needing financial assistance with child care and am looking for both regular and irregular gigs.
