Hello! My name is Mia- I am currently completing my senior year at Centaurus High School and a recent graduate of the CNA nursing program at Front Range, working on my goal to become a pediatric nurse practitioner. I love working with children in every capacity; I was a lead special education assistant at Angevine Middle School for special needs students (where I first developed my passion!) for two years. After a diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes when I was 5 years old, I knew that a career in health care was my life's ambition. I am a recent graduate of the Front Range CNA program and have completed clinicals. In addition to my child care and nursing experience, I am proficient and certified in CPR (child and infant); working with children with disabilities; and care and management for children with diabetes. In my spare time I enjoy volunteering (Lafayette Read more Public Library's reading program and local food drives), was active in the student council, and volunteered for several years assisting in marketing with the Crested Butte International Film Festival. My hobbies include writing, film, makeup artistry, and basketball. I look forward to providing exemplary care and bonding with your child!
