Hello! My name is Alex and I have worked with children for 20+ years. I helped raise my two younger siblings and was a swim teacher for several years. I met my wife and moved to Colorado where I worked as a paraprofessional and I did respite care for children on the autism spectrum. Later I worked in a behavior support needs classroom in an elementary school. I learned CPR, CPI, Love and Logic, and deescalation skills. After working in the elementary school setting I fell in love with speech language pathology. I am currently finishing my degree as a speech language pathologist assistant at UNC. I currently substitute in the Windsor School district. I am looking to support families during the summer, after school and weekends.
