Hello! My name is Alex and I am a kind, bubbly, understanding and energetic 20 year old with a great sense of humor and a very open heart and mind. I have always loved children and have a very special place in my heart for connecting with little ones of various ages and helping them grow in confidence, manners, academics and other age-appropriate life skills. I pride myself on being very flexible, lighthearted, and easy to get along with, while still being able to step into the more serious roles required when caring for children. I have past experience babysitting throughout my teenage years (both paid and unpaid) as well as experience coaching gymnastics for ages 3-8. I am a very confident driver with a safe, reliable, consistently serviced vehicle and a valid drivers license that I’ve had since 16 with no history of accidents or tickets so you can Read more confidently ensure your child(ren's) safety should I need to transport them to or from school, activities, etc. Additionally, I have a very strong connection to my own inner child and find that incredibly helpful in understanding, relating to and connecting with kids of all ages. I enjoy both facilitating and participating in all kinds of activities such as cooking and baking, reading, arts and crafts, going on hikes and walks, trips to museums and other attractions, and much more. I am also quite confident tweaking all of these activities to ensure that they are age appropriate for different children. Whether you as a family are looking for a few nights out, some parent getaways, a more consistent summer babysitter, or just someone to help out when time allows, I would love to get to know you all and see if we’d be a good fit.
