Hi! My name is Shelby and I’m here to offer childcare for a family in need. My availability will begin August 15th. I am available Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8-5 (flexible) with the understanding that I need to be at Great Work Montessori to pick up my son between 3-3:15p each of those days. I’ll need your family to be okay with him joining me the last couple hours of the day. Depending on the type of responsibilities and age of the child(ren) my rate will fall somewhere between $20-25/hr. My associates degree focused on child development and I’m currently finishing my bachelors with a major in psych and minor in health care. I have experience as a nanny or sitter for over 10 years. For the last 2 years I have been nannying for the same family and bringing my son along full time. I have all the necessary requirements (clean driving record/cpr-first aid certified, non-smoker) along with more experience than I know what to do with. Not only will I provide developmentally appropriate care but I can also help with school readiness activities. I tend to thrive working with kids from 0-4. My car also has third row seats! Amazing, I know! I’m happy to provide three current references from over the last 3-4 years. My goal is to continue nannying while I finish my degree (graduation may 2024) and then start my career as an Occupational Therapist. Im a single mama and being able to maintain this work set up for the last 2.5 years has literally been the best thing that happened to me and the family I work for. Hoping to find another family to mesh with in all the craziness and joy of children and parenting!!!
