Hello! My name is Efrata Shiferaw, and I am a 24-year-old graduate from the University of Denver with a bachelor’s degree in International Studies. I am currently on an exciting journey to become a certified yoga instructor, with the goal of opening my own wellness center one day. My passion for childcare began at the age of 13, when I started volunteering at my church’s daycare. Since then, I have gained extensive experience babysitting and nannying for various wonderful families. My most recent and current position has been with a fantastic family with four children, aged 6, 4, 3, and a newborn. Over the past year, I have primarily cared for the older three children while the mother spends time with the newborn. In addition to my hands-on experience, I hold several early childhood care certifications from the Colorado Department of Education. These include First Aid and CPR, Prevention and Read more Control of Infectious Diseases and Immunization, and more. My training ensures that I can provide a safe and nurturing environment for your children. I am known for my kind-hearted nature, easy-going attitude, and ability to work well with kids of all ages. I bring fun and creativity to my interactions while maintaining a responsible and communicative approach. I believe in fostering a supportive and engaging atmosphere where children can thrive. Sadly, the family I’m currently with is moving in August, so I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with a new family and provide the same level of care and dedication.
