I grew up in a big family and began learning how to care for babies at 10 years old. Today, I have five nieces and four nephews and I've loved every minute of it! I like taking them to the park, playing games and doing crafts, and helping with their homework. They taught me at an early age that I love taking care of children. At 15, I coached a PeeWee cheerleading team and a children's morning bowling league. I did that for a few years before I graduated and went to Dominican College in NY where I grew up. I graduated with a BA in 2017. Post-college, I worked at a mental health facility and cared for children and adults of all ages. I facilitated therapeutic activities, assisted with daily living, and my primary responsibility was to provide and maintain safety. Currently, I am employed full-time as a Peer Support Specialist. I have a limited schedule due to my working hours, but I’m looking to change this and dedicate full-time to child care! My experience includes light housekeeping, laundry, food prep/meal times and naps or bedtimes. I’m also very organized and detail-oriented! I'm comfortable with all ages and I have my own vehicle for any travel needs. :)
