Hello! I'm Aviana and I'm a sophomore studying psychology and criminal justice at UCCS. I'm the oldest of six kids, the youngest being six years old, and I have been babysitting and caring for them for roughly 12 years. I don't have much experience outside of that but I did babysit for a family friend for a consecutive month and a half. He and his significant other have two boys, the older of which has autism. I would pick them up from daycare around 4:30pm Monday through Thursday and watched them until about 10pm. Occasionally, I would babysit on a weekend day, and on those days, I would typically do an overnight. While babysitting the two boys, I would assist them with homework, keep them entertained (go for walks, play in the backyard, play with LEGOs, ect.), as well as prepare them supper. I also like to provide light housework Read more like doing the dishes, taking out trash, sweeping, ect. They also have two dogs I would care for as well, and I myself have two cats. I am not CPR certified or first aid trained, however my mother works in the medical field and I have picked up things from her along the way. I am very open to go through formal training! A little more about me is that I'm 19 and from southern Minnesota. I moved to Colorado Springs last August for school and decided to stay here at least until I'm done with school. Like I said I'm going to school for psychology and criminal justice and hope to be a criminal therapist and provide counseling to prisoners. I absolutely love music so the kids and I will most definitely be having a dance party. I love to cook as well! My most recent food project was homemade strawberry soda. I'm also strangely into medieval history and can go on for ages about Dante's Inferno.
