As a mother of 2 (now grown), caring for children has become instinctively natural. I've had the opportunity to care for 3 children (including infant twins) in a family setting and more at the YMCA. My experience includes infant care up to early education age. In addition to age-appropriate activities, some duties included meal prep, potty training, learning skills (sounds/phonics/speaking, writing, math), taught 5-yr-old to read, dishes, laundry, some light cleaning. I've had past CPR and First Aid certs through the YMCA. What is most endearing is how children bring life into your heart with their warm smiles and loving hearts.
