My name is Lauren and I am a recent college graduate seeking employment as I figure out which direction I would like to head for graduate school. I have spent a great deal of time traveling around and trying many new things. However, I find that I seek job opportunities that revolves around working with children, as it is truly where my heart lies. I am very passionate about child development and understanding the importance of child psychology. I have come to find that the two most important ingredients for a happy and healthy child is simply love and patience. Children are constantly being shaped and molded by the world that surrounds them at every second of every day and it is vital that they grow in a positive learning environment with lots of love and attention to nurture their needs. I spend a majority of my time outdoors and Read more I think that children thrive best in an environment that can get them active, in touch with the natural world, and that pushes them to activate their imaginations. I generally do not subscribe to using television or electronics of any kind and would instead prefer to play child games or something like a board game at the very least to keep them engaged with others. I also do not generally subscribe to unhealthy food, as I find nutrition to be an essential component to early childhood development (and of course, a healthy diet is true for all human beings). However, I am very easy going and open-minded and find it also important to respect the wishes and decisions of the parents. But I also intend to treat your children as they are my own while they are under my watch, and under my watch, your children's happiness and health is first and foremost in my eyes. I also love to cook and clean. I think it is also important from an employment perspective to make your life as easy as possible, hence why you hired me. If that means coming home to a clean house and a healthy cooked meal, I have no problem helping out in any way I can. I just moved to San Francisco and am seeking part-time babysitting employment. I am available all day Sundays and Fridays and anytime after 4pm Monday through Thursday. I have a lot of experience working with children.
