Hey there, I’m Emily. I started babysitting neighbor kids for extra money when I was in middle school, and I still love doing it 25 years later! I am a fun, patient, responsible, caring sitter who will treat your kids and pets like they were my own. I enjoy doing activities like arts and crafts, going to the park, playing games, and reading books. I try to minimize screen time as much as possible when I’m caring for kids, although of course I’m happy to follow your household rules and guidelines. I’m comfortable driving kids to/from school and activities, preparing meals and snacks, helping out with homework, getting kids to bed/down for naps, and doing light housekeeping (children’s dishes, wiping surfaces, picking up toys, children’s laundry.) I am super comfortable with ALL your pets; I worked at an animal shelter and absolutely love all animals. I’m willing and able to Read more flex to your parenting style. My personal philosophies align with attachment parenting and the Love and Logic approach. About Me: I’ve lived in the Denver area for 25 years. My only “child” is my 11 year old chihuahua, Horatio. I have 2 nieces and a nephew here in Denver. I have a BA in International Studies from UC Denver. I speak passable Spanish. My hobbies include gardening, art, travel and yoga.
