I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and building strong bonds with them. For me, it is not merely a job but an opportunity to connect and influence children while helping parents have peace of mind knowing that their beloved children are well taken care of. As a mother myself, I know how difficult it can be to find a reliable, dependable, and trustworthy care provider for your children; with me, you can expect nothing less than professional, kind, and caring service. I have dedicated a large amount of my time to learning how to be a good parent and educating myself on children's psychological and physical needs. I implement what I learned with any child I meet. I started babysitting when I was 14 as a part-time job. After high school, I spend 2.5 years in the army. Immediately after my service, I worked for three months as a substitute teacher in a daycare in NJ. When the teacher I was subbing for returned from maternity leave, the school principal requested that I work directly with her kids at her house. Soon after, the principal's sister hired me too, and I worked for them full time with kids ranging in age from 18 months to 13 years. I stayed with them for over a year until I moved to CO. When I moved to CO, I worked as a business manager and eventually became a partner in the business I managed. After my daughter was born, I realized that my true passion was working with families. This realization has led me to change my career altogether and pursue a career in nursing. I got licensed as a CNA and completed the pre-requisite coursework required for nursing school. Now I finally have the time and flexibility to do what I do best and enjoy the most. I would appreciate the opportunity to be the babysitter your family needs.
