In 2021, I completed a 9-month Relationship Coach certification process through the Relationship School. My approach with kids is infused with respect, kindness, and curiosity. I see every Read more behavior as an expression of needs, and nervous system regulation as a prerequisite to socialization and learning; in short, my view on discipline is best summarized by Dan Siegel’s famous quip, “Connection come before correction.” I am an enthusiastic playmate, ready to direct my fascination with both the natural and the human-made world towards the subject of a child’s interest. On a practical note, I have experience with meal preparation, play date organization, driving, bedtime routines, and potty training. I am happy to lend a hand with grocery shopping, laundry, and anything related to the children in my care that is not on this list. I am currently enjoying a car-free lifestyle but have a clean driving record and 15+ years of driving experience. I am a non-smoker and a healthy-ish omnivore.
