Hi Families! My name is Chelsea and I live here in Avon, CO. I grew up in Glenview, IL, a north suburb of Chicago. I graduated from the University of Missouri with a BA in History and minor in Cultural Studies. I have years of experience babysitting, overnight nannying, coaching, helping with school work and anything in between. Chelsea was absolutely phenomenal. Couldn’t rate her highly enough. Prior to starting the job she asked a bunch of questions so she could be well prepared before arriving. She arrived early, and straightaway was hands on helping the family. Chelsea was looking after our 12mo whilst they rest off the family skied. She immediately built a rapport with the biggest two kids to get them dressed and sun cream on without a fuss (a miracle as my eldest fights it every time!) She quickly checked on the bubbas routine and then we all left the house. Bubba had a long nap almost as soon as Chelsea arrived. She messaged me how he slept and what milk he had after his sleep and gave updates on his play. She made and fed him lunch and then took him out to play it was a lovely day. He got to go to the park have plenty of fresh air and she napped him in the pram for his afternoon sleep and met us at the bottom of the mountain for the end of the end of ski school so we could all stay up for cookie time together. When she met us, she had brought drinks and snacks for Jack but had also brought for the big kids two, without me asking. She was relaxed and confident with the task at hand and I immediately felt incredibly comfortable with her and with leaving my bub with her. When we got home after cookie time, it seems she had used the bubs nap time to tidy up. The house was immaculate, our laundry had been folded and placed in our beds and the kitchen was tidy. A real treat. Would whole heartedly recommend Chelsea to any family looking for a brilliant babysitter so they can confidently leave their children. ❤️
