Hello, my name is Chloe Tokuno. While I do not have a long list of paid nanny jobs to show on my resume, I have real life experiences to base my knowledge of children and the decisions I make while caring for a child(ren). I grew up in a busy family with 5 kids, I am the second oldest and helped mom care for the youngest 3 children, throughout their life. I was 17 when little brother was born and would take “shifts” with my mom: waking in the middle of the night to feed little brother or change his diaper as she slept while I continued my high school education and remained focused on ballet. Throughout high school, I was the sitter for many of my parents’ friends: for an evening away to 3 weeks of 24 hour care for 3 children. I am a certified ECG monitor, can Read more perform CPR. Most importantly, I do not panic in emergency situations. I am a 1099 contractor and own a reliable vehicle, a 2010 Honda Crosstour. I am extremely patient, nurturing and have an even keeled temper. I enjoy being in the sunshine camping, hiking or swimming. I love a good book or a funny feel good kind of film. I’m a yogi and a creative kind of girl. In my spare time, I photograph life, write or read. I start my day with a shavasana (meditation) session. I believe every day is a gift and I try to be a better human daily. My best running buddy is my main main man, Hamilton. He’s a 3 year old boxer mix. I actually enjoy spending time with little humans, I find their point of view on life and the world refreshingly simple and fascinating. With the combined experience of caring for children and seniors, all aspect of care and management, I believe that I am a strong candidate.
