Hello, my name is Kass! I’m 31 years old and have over 10 years of childcare experience, including working as a full-time nanny to two separate sets of infant/toddler twins. I’ve also worked as a nanny for school-age children, including responsibility for school pick-up, homework help, and after-school activities drop-off/pick up. I have a reliable car, and valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, as well as knowledge on proper car seat use and installation. I loved working as a nanny and truly getting to know the kids and build an individual relationship with each of them. A bit about me: I enjoy being active and outside, reading, audiobooks, and animals. I volunteer with rescues and vets to foster a lot of kittens- specifically the very small and sick neonates, who need around the clock care- bottle feeding, tube feeding, subcutaneous fluids, etc. I really enjoy teaching and watching children Read more learn new concepts and skills, and seeing self-confidence it gives them to overcome obstacles. I have worked as a tutor to children with Dyslexia using the Susan Barton Reading and spelling system, and have plans to make this a more full-time career in the future. This is a hands-on approach to teaching reading and spelling, and I would love to expand my experience to include working with more children with special needs. I’m comfortable with cameras in the home, and pets in the home, and don’t mind some additional pet-related responsibilities, such as potty breaks or feedings. I’ve been cpr/first aid certified in the past, including infant certification, but my certification is not current. I have a reliable car and a clean driving record. Please feel free to message me with any questions you have! 😊
