I’m 20 years old, I was born and raised in Kenya, moved to America (Florida) 2012, ever since I moved here I’ve been babysitting/petsitting/housesitting even plantsitting (watering plants and feeding them) as my jobs while in high school , I’m currently a student at New York Film Academy (burbank) getting a bachelors degree, graduating January 2019. Biggest accomplishment in the babysitter world was looking after 7 children at the same time , the youngest starting at 1 ranging to the oldest at 8 , it was a parents game night. I enjoyed babysitting in high school so why not carry on in college. I love helping children out whether it being their play/homework buddy or just a friend, I’m always up for anything. I also have a 10 year old brother who I’ve been babysitting while my parents were at work ever since he was 4, so I know what Read more it takes to understand children at such a Young age . I’m very quick and reliable when it comes to adapting to whatever parents might require for their children. If needed letters of recommendation or contacts of older employers I will not hesitate to give. I have my own car so transport is never an issue. I love all animals. I’m an experienced swimmer and took a class in water rescue . I don’t mind staying late nights or extra time if needed with no extra fee. I love the arts, so I’ll always have fun art workshops/ crafts or plays to do with the kids. I grew up playing/competing in sports like football(soccer) , basketball, softball, ,swimming , water polo, handball, tennis, badminton, field hockey, and a little of karate, taekwondo and volleyball.

Elisa is amazing! She is kind, patient, understanding, and hard working. She made my daughter feel loved and safe and it looks like they had a great time together!

Elisa is lovely but, at this point in time, not 100% reliable. She is potentially a perfect fit for the casual babysitting job where a cancellation isn't a serious issue, but if you need someone who can commit to a schedule on an ongoing basis, then I would look elsewhere. We hired Elisa to watch our 3-year old son 2 days/week on the days he wasn't at daycare. Unfortunately, she did not make 1/3 of the days she had committed to working. Once was due to illness, which was perfectly understandable, except she only let me know in a reply to a text I sent to her 30 minutes before she was supposed to arrive. Overall, our experience was that she did not seem to have a great handle on her own schedule -- e.g., one of the times she missed was because she forgot that she had school pictures the next day (she didn't let us know the night before), another time was because she didn't realize the dates her boyfriend had booked their flights, and yet another was because the school had somehow changed the dates of her class. Sometimes she let us know the day of or day before, and sometimes it was a week in advance -- but every parent knows that interviewing people, finding someone you and your child both like, hiring them, and getting your child used to them takes time -- which is incredibly challenging when you're working, taking care of family, going to school, etc. So if you need the occasional babysitter, she may be worth taking a chance on -- she really is a sweet young woman. But if you absolutely need someone who can commit to being there (like any other job), then I would pass.
