Hi families, friends, and furry creatures! My name is Bridgette De Leon, but everyone calls me Maerz. My pronouns are they/he and I am a 23 year old 4th grade NYC teacher with plenty of experience in childcare management and education. I’ve cared for kids ages 0-14 and have also tutored individual students and classes of up to 25 kids at once. I am currently working on my Masters for Childhood Education 1-6th grade and my teaching certification for the state of New York. My alma mater is Loyola Marymount University with a B.A. in English and Minor in Spanish. I can speak both English and Spanish, own a car, and a native Southern Californian, specifically from Ventura County, but I’ve lived in LA for at least 5 years and am very familiar with the city. I also grew up as pet owner of various creatures (cats, dogs, reptiles, fish, Read more pigs, rodents, etc.) and I am a natural animal lover. I don’t have much experience with elderly care, but am an exceptional cook, cleaner, planner, manager, and organizer. That’s just a little bit about me. I look forward to meeting you and thank you for taking the time to get to know me!
