My name is Melissa and I am in my 40's. I adore children and am continuously amazed and in awe of just how miraculous they are. I have always loved children and couldn't wait to have my own . Mine are now 17 and 18 and I am missing the baby/little stages. My experience includes babysitting from age 11 until even now, I worked at La Petite Academy preschool while attending college for my bachelor's degree in elementary education, I taught several programs at Central Elementary in Escondido and then was picked up to teach the first all day bilingual kindergarten class there as well. Due to the budget cuts, I had to find d something more stable and reliable so I opened up my own home daycare for 3 years. I watched 5 children ranging from newborn-5. I recently have begun to nanny again because I miss being with children so much . I began taking care of a 3 month premature baby whom I adored but they ended up moving back to Switzerland so for the last year and 2 months I have been caring for two precious little girls who are now 2 and 3 years old. The parents have decided that the older daughter needs to prepare socially for school so they are going to be enrolling them into a preschool program in a couple weeks which unfortunately means that they will no longer be needing me. Update: I now have a full-time job and live in Temecula. My job has a little flexibility as to when I get off but normally it’s 8-5 M-F. I am a single Mom trying to make enough money to support my family and put my son through college. Thank you!
