Hi! My name is Fernanda and I’m currently a graduate student at Stanford. I’m pursuing a degree in Education with a concentration in Spanish. I love kids of all ages and have had multiple experiences in an education setting. I have taught English to elementary schoolers several summers at Breakthrough Collaborative. I have also taught preschoolers literacy skills through a social-emotional framework at Jumpstart. Furthermore, I have taken care of my younger cousins for the past few years, but they are all grown up now! During my undergrad years, I worked in a child development lab that focused on social-emotional learning. I love spending time with children because they teach me so much about the world, friends, family, and myself! Additionally, I feel immense joy getting to see their curiosity and helping them learn something new.
