Hello, my name is Mara. I am a junior at Grossmont College in hopes of becoming a pediatric nurse (to work with kids). I was born in Germany but have lived in San Diego almost my entire life, so I can speak both English and German. I enjoy working with kids, because of the joy, intelligence, and innocence that I see in each and every child. I get to embrace the feeling of what it means to be a child again. I have worked with children since middle school as a tutor, babysitter, camp counselor, soccer coach, and art teacher, and I loved and continue to love every minute of it.
