I am a mom to 3 children, my oldest is 21, the middle son is 19 and my daughter is 17. They actually now live with their dad in Virginia so I have a lot more free time on my hands now. My middle son has autism so I am very familiar with caring for children and teens on the spectrum. My oldest has ADHD and anxiety so I am also familiar with issues that arise from those diagnoses. I also have experience caring for young adults, adults and elderly with physical disabilities as well as cognitive disabilities. I also had 4 years experience caring for someone with epilepsy, grand mal (tonic/clonic seizures) as well as absence seizures. I have nieces and a nephew I have babysat for and various friends throughout the years. I was a Girl Scout troop leader for my daughter’s troop for 3 years and volunteered Read more as the walk manager for Sonoma County Autism Speaks annual walk. I love dogs and cats so rest assured I have no problem snuggling on the couch with your furry baby and reading a bedtime story (or have one read to me!) to your child. Have bathed the fussiest boy on the planet and some very picky eaters managed not to go hungry. Have a strong willed child? I come from a long line of stubbornness and managed just fine with one of the most stubborn person out there, my son!
