Hi, I'm Alea! While finishing my Master's program at UCLA in Social Work--specializing in school social work and child development--I'm employed at an LAUSD middle school, working with students and families. I enjoy this work so much that I would love to provide your family with afternoon, evening, and weekend childcare/academic support. I have experience in both private nannying for families, as well as professional experience with infants and children. Through an internship at an Early Head Start Program in Downtown LA, I completed a child development course and First Aid/CPR certification. For two years, I worked as a Site Coordinator for an after school program in Washington, DC. My program provided homework help and character education for students in grades 3 through 7. I am, therefore, very experienced in providing academic support for many age groups. I have worked as a private nanny and babysitter in Los Angeles for Read more four families, with children ages 0-7 years old. I am also a loving, intelligent, patient person who enjoys supporting the development of self-esteem and a sense of agency in children. Animals in any household are a plus, and I am open and interested in assisting with housework or errands. Thank you and I look forward to meeting you and your family!
