I am a pediatric speech pathologist currently employed with a TK-12 charter school. I have limited/sporadic availability during school hours (M-F 9-4) but am consistently available for before/after school care, nights and weekends. I absolutely love children and truly enjoy working with them. I have learned a lot about children through my education as well as through personal experience. I am the oldest child in my family on both sides so I grew up caring for my little brother as well as all of my younger cousins. I have also volunteered at my church in the nursery and have had countless exposures to children of all ages and abilities through my career as a speech therapist. I have worked in a preschool, multidisciplinary cinic, hospital, elementary school, and now a charter school. I am comfortable caring for infants, children with disabilities, and several children at once. I have gone through Read more extensive background checks/livescan fingerprinting since I work for a public school. I believe I can find a receipt of this if you would like a copy. A little more about me: I am 28 and grew up in Orcutt. I moved to San Diego for school when I was 18 but recently moved back to the central coast to be closer to family. I love the beach, my dogs, country music, and hiking! I would describe myself as flexible, responsible, and down-to-earth. My babysitting style is FUN: slip n slides, walks to the park, picnics, homemade lemonade, crafts, board games, movie nights etc. Can't wait to meet you! *I am not vaccinated*
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
