Hello! My name is Kira, I’m a fourth year psychology student at UC Santa Cruz and a part-time EMT. I also LOVE working with kids! I grew up in Berkeley, CA and started babysitting at around 13 years old. By age 16 I was involved with over 12 families with up to 3 children. I have worked as a counselor and performing arts skills teacher at Camp Winnarainbow (a sleep-away summer camp for kids ages 7-14) for the past 3 summers, and volunteered as a “teen leader” for 2 before that. I’m experienced in pet care, semi-fluent in Spanish, and love to cook! I’m now located in downtown Santa Cruz and am looking for families that need occasional childcare. Although I have experience with all age groups, I have a special place in my heart for caring for infants and toddlers:) Bonus if you are also downtown! I’m happy to Read more share my resume, references and answer any other questions.
