Hi! My name is Jessie, and I am a Child Life Specialist at Rady Children's Hospital. I have a Master's degree in Human Development and Family Science with a concentration in child life and an undergraduate degree in Psychology. A child life specialist works in pediatric hospitals and helps children and their families cope and understand their healthcare experience through child development theory and evidence-based interventions. I work per diem, so I have more free time and flexibility with my schedule. I would love to help a family out by nannying/babysitting their child or children a few times a week. I have many years of experience through working at Camp for All, which is a non-profit organization that provides a barrier-free camp for children with special needs and challenging illnesses, volunteering in the child life department at Dell Children's Medical Center, completing a child life practicum at Texas Children's Hospital, Read more finished a clinical child life internship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and a variety of nannying/babysitting opportunities. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or want additional information.
