Cyndi cared for our daughter from 6 months old for over 1.5 years. She was instrumental helping shape our daughter into a well-adjusted toddler. She has a lot of experience with children and brings a wealth of knowledge and ideas. Our favorite thing about Cyndi is that she gives incredible amounts of 1:1 attention and focus to our daughter. She is an advocate of outdoor time and learning- they went on a 1 hour walk per day, smelled flowers, learned about animals, listened to the creek, ultimately allowing our daughter to be a kid and enjoy being outside. Cyndi is also passionate about music, art, literature, and yoga, and naturally incorporates these into her daily rhythm with our daughter. Cyndi helped with meal prep and with kid laundry (when we got behind). We had a standard 32 hour weekly schedule, which works best for all parties. She was always on time, never called in sick, and was the most reliable caregiver we've worked with.

Cyndi has been a great Nanny for our 2 y/o twins. She has provided more than just childcare, she provides them with an experience. She takes them on walks where she'll find opportunities to teach them new things. They have learned so many new words from her and new skills. The twins are more active since she started and they even seem to interact with each other more. She has a lot of knowledge that she shares. I've learned so much from her about things that have helped improve the twins health. She is very reliable. She shows up on time and has only missed one day in almost a year! She will meet your needs when it comes to scheduling. Her policy is more than fair and as far as I'm concerned she is a bargain! The twins love her and one of them actually said "thank you" to her. (first time he said that) We deeply appreciate the work Cyndi has done for us and highly recommend her.

Cyndi has been great for us! She has good ideas for the kids, gives them meaningful experiences and gifts, and makes excellent suggestions regarding their growth and development. Recently, Cyndi was easily capable of handling four children at the beach (a challenging assignment for me), and everyone had a great time.

Cyndi has provided care for my 3 year old and 5 year old daughters on an as needed basis over the last 2 years. Cyndi is reliable, communicative, very punctual, hard working and has an unique ability to manage children. My daughters immediately took to Cyndi and I could tell that my children would be safe with her and taken good care from the moment I interviewed her. My daughters ask for Cyndi "the book reader" often. Cyndi has great ideas for activity's to do with children and I love to hear my kids ask to play with Cyndi. I give Cyndi my highest recommendation.

After posting an add in Sittercity, Cindy contacted us right away. We schdeuled a meeting to discuss the possibility to be a nanny for our newborn. Half an hour before the meeting she called us and told us that she could not find the address of our house and asked for directions. We provided detailed directions. Ten minutes after our meeting time she sent us a text saying that she could still not find our place and that she did not want to drive this far to work anyway. To put things in perspective, she was given the address days in advance and no other nanny we have interviewed and generally no other person had had this trouble finding our place. How can you trust someone to take care of your child if she cannot even find your address?! On top of that, she connot even write a text message without doing a typo per sentence. We are glad she stood us up because this way we did not have to lose our time inteviewing her.
Cyndi B.'s reply
From the tone of your posting I think I dodged a bullet. The families I work for have always treated me with respect. I'm not perfect and sincerely tried my best to be punctual. Considering your typo critic; I found it amusing that your posting contains a number of typos. Please treat whomever you hire with respect.

My husband and I highly recommend Cyndi as a nanny or babysitter for infants. Cyndi takes care of our 3 month old son for 20 hrs/wk and we couldn't be happier about having her as his nanny. Cyndi is friendly, always on time, trustworthy and knowledgeable about infants. She is very patient and loving with our son and goes the extra mile to make sure he is comfortable and well cared for. She also takes him for long walks each morning, which we love. Our son adores Cyndi. He greets her with a smile each day when she arrives. My husband and I feel very lucky to have Cyndi looking after of our little one and we are at ease knowing that he is happy and in good hands while we are at our work. I would be happy to tell you more about our experience with Cyndi. Please feel free to contact me via email (maryhunsicker@msn.com). Mary Hunsicker
