My name is Val and I’m a 25-year old non-traditional student (meaning I’m going back to school hehe). My interests include the outdoors, bookstores, photography and philosophy. I’m my free time these days, I’m looking over notes and completing homework or watching movies with my boyfriend. I feel qualified for the reasons being that I have live-in caretaking experience and I’m also the eldest of four girls. My mom says as a kid, I did my sisters’ hair and sometimes snack sandwiches. As for more formal experience, like I mentioned earlier, I used to be a live-in caretaker, where I looked over seniors with disabilities and cognitive issues. Being there 24hrs, I encountered countless dirty diapers and gained the skills to be a guardian and leader. I’d be happy to assist on date nights etc :)
