I’m a 27 year old, I obtained my BA degree in psychology from UC Santa Cruz. Throughout my teenage years I began babysitting for neighbors and family friends which is where I realized that I wanted to work with children as my future career. During my free summers, I worked as teacher assistant in El Cerrito Madera Elementary and as summer camp counselor also in El Cerrito. Both positions have been working with children ages from 4-15. When I graduated college in 2019, I started working as a Mental Health specialist for children with disabilities. I LOVE my job! However, my active duties are based on the school calendar and I get part of the summer and winter break off (not paid) which is why I make myself available Monday-Sunday during those breaks for sitter gigs. Grizel is such a wonderful babysitter! We have a 2yo son that needed a last minute sitter and she was everything we were looking for. Her playful and nurturing demeanor made our son feel comfortable and safe, and we could tell he had a great time with her! Whether it was feeding him lunch or tidying up after playtime, she always made sure everything was taken care of. We also appreciated her punctuality and reliability. We look forward to working with her again in the future.
