Hello families! My name is Isabela Souza, I’m 26 years old, I’m from Brazil and at that moment I’m living in San Mateo. Im used to work as an au pair in San Mateo for 1 year and 3 months taking care of 4 kids (including 2 special needs). In general, I have around 3,5 years working with children. Experiences: - In my home country (Brazil) I’ve worked for 2 years in a daycare, from 8am till 5pm. I took care of children from 1 year old to 10 (including special needs kids). I’m used to change diapers, feed them, prepare them for nap time, and create educative arts and crafts activities to play and distract them. -During my 1 year and 3 months of au pair program I’m used to take care of 4 kids, Edward (10 years old), Kaya (she’s autistic, she’s 12 but act like a 6yo Read more girl, she’s a type of kid who can’t be alone anytime because she wants to eat everything she see, she’s very dependent), Maclain he’s also a several nonverbal autistic boy (he’s 13 but he acts like a baby, completely dependent, he can’t go to the bathroom, change, eat by himself) and Mosley (15yo I just drive him to everywhere). I’m used to take Kaya and Edward to parks, pet stores (they love animals and fishes), planning activities to avoiding screen time as much as I can. Daily activities: Cook meals for dinner everyday for all of them, teach them some Brazilian food, do their laundry, read books, crafts, dance, sing, play in the front/back yard and in the trampoline, go for a walk around the neighborhood. I love kids, I consider my self very paciente and responsable, creative, proactive and communicative. Always in a good mood, I like to solve problems by conversations and I’m always looking for keep them safe and a happy growth. I’m fully vaccinated, I have CPR and first AID course, I do not smoke and I’m ok with pets. I can’t wait to talk to you! Thanks, Isa!
