Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my biography. My name is Yolis. While I do not have children of my own yet, I have a wealth of experience in childcare. My journey in childcare began at the age of fourteen when I started taking care of children at my church. Over the years, I continued to care for children until I graduated from high school. Since then, I have been working and also looking after my niece on and off for the past eight years. In 2021, my sisters were both blessed with children, and I often helped take care of my nephews when needed. I am passionate about bringing creativity, outdoor activities, healthy eating habits, and a Steiner-style approach to learning to children. Encouraging children to make choices and empowering them to be confident while respecting others is important to me. I am also willing to assist with housekeeping tasks such as tidying up children's rooms, organizing play areas, and doing laundry. If I were to describe myself in five words, I would say that I am caring, loving, dedicated, responsible, and hardworking. I have received extensive training from various healthcare professionals, including an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Registered Nurse, Pediatric Hospitalist, Perinatal Psychotherapist, Child Pelvic Floor Specialist, Certified Sleep Consultant, Child Behavior Specialist, and Child Clinical Psychologist.
