The economy has made it difficult to make ends meet and also be a fully present parent (at least to the capacity in which you desire to be) and I empathized with the strain that put on families. I remember my mother having to work and go to school and how traumatizing it was for her and really leaning on my nanny to support the family in ensuring that the values and lessons were taught as if she was present. That is what I aspire to be. I still visit my childhood nanny and its refreshing to know that my family chose the right nanny and that still my nanny has rapport with me. I have been babysitting for about two years for children of wide age ranges: newborn - 12. I have my certification is CPR, Mental Health First Aid and QPR. I have my degree in Child Development Read more and Sociology with a minor in Pre-law.
