Hi, my name is Leila Major. I am currently a student at the University of San Francisco. I am the eldest of three siblings with many younger cousins, so in a lot of ways I have spent a large portion of my life caring for and entertaining children. In my teens, I worked as a Leader in Training (L.I.T.) at the summer camp I had been attending since I was 10 years old. In that position, I and the other L.I.T.s were tasked with maintaining the safety and promoting a positive camp experience for children aged 8-14. I have babysat my siblings and cousins at various ages, so I have experience with babies, toddlers, and adolescents. I really value the importance of spending time with children away from technology in a way that hones their interests and talents.
