Hello, my name is Harry, I'm 26 years old and I use they/them pronouns. I have worked with children since graduating college in 2020, often as an outdoor educator. I'm currently wrapping up my second school year as a kindergarten aftercare teacher at a Waldorf school in San Francisco. I am looking for a part time position during our summer break, ideally 20-30 hours a week. I'm most experienced with children ages 4-6, although I have also worked with older children at summer camps and I have sat for younger children as well. My pedagogical framework mostly comes from my experience and training as a Waldorf teacher. I focus on crafting an engaging routine through which the child can feel safe to explore, grow, and let their imagination run free. I have gotten feedback that I am kind and gentle while also firm and boundaried. In my free time I Read more love to go on hikes, hang out with friends and family, knit, and read a gripping novel. I have also spent a year in an herbalism training program, and I love spending time with plants.
