Dora was great watching our daughter and our dogs. She was on time and kept us updated on our daughter while we were out. We would definitely hire Dora to watch all of our "kids" again!

Dora nannied for my son from March 7, 2023 through August 1, 2024. She worked 35 hours per week in the Marina district of San Francisco. Dora’s tasks included taking my 2 year old son to the park, diaper changes, cooking and feeding him lunch and dinner, bathing him, picking him up from preschool, reading him books, and playing with him. Dora has been a pivotal part of his toddler development. She has not only been an outstanding caretaker, but she has also been an incredible teacher to him. My son has learned the alphabet, his numbers and basic sharing. Dora has developed a relationship with other nannies at the park that care for kids my son’s age and she has actively encouraged playdates with these kids. During these playdates, she has taught him sharing and socialization skills. My son has developed a special bond with Dora and he asks for her every day. As a parent, I have loved the easy communication I have had with Dora. She would send updates throughout the day, every day, so I always felt involved in my son’s day. I received picture and video updates every day as well as FaceTime check-ins when my son requested it. Dora’s punctuality was very helpful as a working parent. I could always count on her to be on time. She is also flexible with the scheduled when needed which was also very helpful. I knew my son was happy and in good care when I was at work. I highly recommend Dora!

Dora is a wonderful babysitter for our family. She’s warm, dependable, and immediately put us at ease. She showed up on time and was great with our little girl—getting smiles right away and reading her a bedtime story. As a mother herself, Dora has clearly been through similar stages with her own child, and it shows in the way she handles situations with calm confidence and genuine care. She treated our daughter as if she were her own, and we could tell she really cared. We feel lucky to have found her and will be hiring her again soon.

Wonderful sitter. Arrived on time, very friendly, and immediately was connecting with our kids. She had both our infant and 3 yo in bed by the time we got home.

Dora was punctual, very nice and I would hire her again. I gave her quick instructions on where everything was in my house and how to care for my 11 month old baby, and she performed very well, even preparing breakfast and lunch from scratch for him. My baby warmed up to her very quickly too as she was sweet, sang songs, played with him and read him stories.

Teodora is a lovely young lady whom my son was fond of- she was interactive and friendly. Unfortunately I won’t ever use her again because she totally went MIA on her last confirmed job- refusing to answer my texts, voicemails, or sitter city message. I fully understand when plans change, but as a working parent I need communication and professionalism. I also need my sitter to be reachable for safety reasons.
