I had a career in science & medical journalist before I had my first child in 2000; at that point I started researching education options, discovered Waldorf, and fell in love. My 4 children all spent early childhood in Waldorf and have each now graduated out, at different years / grades. I taught a Waldorf forest-kindergarten, got my Waldorf credential, got my California state teaching credential, and now teach English and History in a college prep charter school. I'm now looking for a homeschool pod in San Francisco, the Peninsula, the East Bay, or southern Marin county. I can create and carry out curriculum for all age levels and grades, and can also teach handwork, Spanish, sign language, and yoga. I'm experienced with diverse academic and therapeutic interventions and supports such as Slingerland and HANDLE, and am particularly well-trained and well-qualified to work with students who have (or may have) Read more such learning differences as dyslexia and / or AD/HD. I have a long list of degrees, credentials, and supplemental trainings.
