Hello, Pleasure to meet you! My name is Brianna, and below is an intro I send to families that includes my experience and education. If you need to contact me for any reason, please do not hesitate to reach out. I am originally from Dallas, Texas. My husband and I moved here 7 years ago, on a whim and basically never left. We have a frenchie (no real kids), who I am obsessed with, and split our time between the Mission and Bayview neighborhoods. I hold a degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University, which I used to propel me into nannying as a career, and then nursing. After a ton of research and being in the Bay Area, I landed at UCSF. I received my nursing license through them and am currently in my Master’s year. I will graduate as a midwife and women’s health Read more nurse practitioner in early 2024. I like to keep busy, and for work I do many things related to birth, postpartum and early childhood. Before becoming a doula, I worked with strictly babies, and I loved it. (You can see my 65+ five star reviews on Urban Sitter.) I am currently a full spectrum doula. I worked as a birth doula with Sisterweb SF Community Doula Network for 3 years, before moving over to doing doula mentorship for them. I also work super part time at SF Birth Center as a nurse/midwife assist, where I help babies be born. As the queen of a side hustle, during my breaks from school I take babysitting, and postpartum gigs. Aside from a few required daytime meetings, my schedule is flexible, which is why I applied to this position. I take my job seriously, and safety as well. I was able to get Trustline verified through the state. I also am CPR/BLS certified, and recently did advanced NRP (newborn resuscitation). Because of my hospital rotations, I have to be up to date on required vaccines, (including COVID and TDAP). I have a passion for women's health, pregnancy, and family structures. I am a firm believer believer that strong families make healthy people. It is a pleasure of mine to continue doing this work, and I look forward to hearing from you. Blessings Brianna
