Hi there! My name is Katie Owens! I received my undergraduate degree in June 2020 from the University of Oregon where I majored in International Studies with an emphasis in Global Health. I love all things outdoors and try to be in nature every single day. I enjoy being creative, whether it be playing music, painting, or making jewelry... I love it all! I am passionate about educating myself on topics such as mental health, nutrition, and how I can be a better global citizen. I love to travel and my favorite experience so far has been spending a summer in Accra, Ghana where I studied under midwives at a local clinic. I started my college career as an early childhood education major and although I graduated with an International Studies degree, I love kids and want to use my degree to make change for our youth globally.
