I have about 2 years of personal experience that I acquired from volunteering at an elementary school and by caring for young children, ages 0-7. Several of the students that I got the opportunity to work with had special needs, including Down Syndrome and Angelman Syndrome. Having fun is a must and I find crafts and games are an excellent way to do so. Being apart of nature is something I really enjoy and having the opportunity to explore the great outdoors with others would be wonderful. Sometimes staying in is the way to go. In those times, I love to cook and/ or bake. Getting kids involved in the different stages such as decorating cookies and washing vegetables are great ways for them to learn and be creative. Speaking of learning, attending school and completing school work is a priority and is something that I can help with. I Read more cannot wait to meet you, your family, and have a great time!
