My name is Katherine and have a passion for working with the pediatric population. I am a licensed RN in the state of California looking for a wonderful family to work with. Most of my teenage years I babysat and nannied, specifically for children with special needs. As I went off to college, I continued with this line of work and achieved Bachelor's in Science and Nursing with a minor in Global Health from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Through my nursing career I have worked with hospitals, school districts, and long term care facilities for those with congenital and acquired intellectual deficits. Over the years I have learned how to provide culturally congruent, individualized, and medically competent care to clients and their families. I would love to get to know you, would appreciate the opportunity to be welcomed into your home. Katherine came into our lives at about the same time as COVID-19 began to menace California. She signed up to take care of my baby and two school age older children, but the second week she was with us school was canceled and she ended up running home school for the two older children and their two friends. It was chaos, but she did an excellent job holding things together and her flexibility during this unusual time was much appreciated. I highly recommend her, and hope we see her again.
