Jessica has been our nanny for the past eight months, starting when our son was nine months old; she was close to full time for a few months and then has been part time since then. We have had a number of caretakers watch our son. Jessica has been the best by a country mile. She has a very warm and positive energy. Our son lights up every time he sees her. She is extremely receptive to feedback. She never needs to be told to do something more than once, and while she has excellent instincts, she’s more than happy to do things however you want them to be done. She learns quickly; she adapted to and understood our routine from the very first hours of working with us. Our son has had some feeding issues during the time that Jessica watched him; she has been unfazed in handling difficult and sometimes stressful situations. Whenever our son is napping, she always offers to help, and is happy to help with whatever was needed, whether it’s cooking meals for him, unloading the dishwasher, light cleaning, or laundry. Jessica is the all-too-rare caretaker where we have felt confident that we don't need to worry about our son at all while she is watching him, and that her judgement when it comes to him is basically equal to our own. We are not sure what we will do without her in our lives, and we would enthusiastically recommend her to any family looking for care for their child.
