Hi my name is Jeniveve! I hope this information below can give a little bit of background to my childcare experience and prompt you into choosing me as your sitter! I am currently a Child Development major at Sacramento State. I want to get more professional experience working with kids since lots of my experience is from a history of volunteer work or is based on relation to family. Like everyone here, I absolutely love kids and always have! At the age of 12, I began helping out at my grandmothers daycare which was in Visalia, CA. Her daycare consisted of newborns to 10 year olds and she would teach me a lot of the responsibilities such as: changing diapers, preparing snacks, interacting with the children, etc. I also have a large family and have always grown up being around children. As of right now, I have a total of Read more 6 nieces and nephews and have watched each and every one of them on numerous occasions. Their ages range from 1 years old all the way up 9 years old. Then my sophomore, junior, and senior year of high school I volunteered at my churches daycare center and took care of the 1 year olds and occasionally the 3 year olds. I also have experience working with special needs. In high school I was a student teacher in the special needs classroom and president of the club we had, which aimed to spend quality time with students. I have also had experience taking care of my sister, whom is 7, and has ADHD. Although none of my experience was official work, I am hoping you will choose me as your sitter to help me gain a more professional profile for my future childcare career. Please message me with any questions at all and I will gladly answer everything! Thank you (:
