I retired from my professional career on my 70th birthday. Age is just a number couldn’t be more true for me, and while I like having a lighter schedule I am still very active and want to continue to contribute. I have been working part time as a tutor, however switching to caring for a child on a regular routine schedule would be preferred. My husband and I have five children between us and grandbaby #10 is due in October; my career was incredibly gratifying but there’s nothing that can compare to being Nana. One or two days per week would be ideal; we do travel from time to time and would appreciate some flexibility for those times. I not only raised my children but also shared in raising some of my grandchildren. I am a native Sacramentan, hold a BA from Sac State and live on the west side Read more of Roseville. I currently do not have child care related certifications; I would complete CPR certification if needed. I love kiddos of all ages, am a genuine dog person and don’t mind doing meals, light housework, etc. (I actually enjoy doing laundry 🤷♀️). My husband and I currently share child care duties for our almost three year old grandson - since we share I am available to take on caring for another little one on a part time basis.
