Hello! My name is Katelyn! I am a recent graduate of Sonoma State University and am looking to start babysitting this summer. I currently have an office job (9AM to 5PM Monday through Thursday), but am looking for a second job as a babysitter for over the summer, and possibly into the fall. I am the oldest of 3 girls in my immediate family (and the oldest niece, granddaughter, etc.) so I have a lot of experience with kids. I have had two paid jobs in childcare (swim instructor/lifeguard and daycare aide) and have volunteered with kids (over-night science camp). I have previously been CPR, AED, first aid, and lifeguard certified, and I am working on recertification for first aid, CPR, and AED. At the daycare, I helped mostly with toddlers for nap, snack, and playtime. As a swim instructor/lifeguard I taught lessons to children of all ages and abilities. Read more I volunteered at a summer camp once a year, every year of high school where I was in charge of 8 6th grade students overnight for a week. During this time I helped with science experiments, making sure the kids were following tasks and that they were having fun! I love working with kids because I feel like it comes very naturally to me. As the oldest child in the family, I have a lot of experience as a built-in babysitter for children of all ages. I recently took and early childhood education class through SSU and learned a lot about caring for children of all abilities. I love doing art, being outdoors, and being active!
